Support Bill and the Pomeroy family!

On Friday, August 4th, while visiting family in Franklin, New Hampshire, our beloved Bill had a major ischemic stroke affecting the majority of his left brain. Bill was taken to three hospitals over those first few days and spent nine days in the hospital before being transferred to an acute rehab facility. His progress has been amazing in many ways yet he is left with major aphasia that is affecting his speech, understanding, right body strength including right hand fine motor skills, the ability to walk and vision damage. Bill will spend a minimum of 3 weeks in acute rehab. Emma was in New England at the time as she and Bill had planned a trip together and Leslie, Mattie and Tommy soon arrived. Once Bill's acute rehab is complete, Leslie will either fly him home or drive him across the country.
As you can imagine the logistics of this situation are mind-boggling and the costs extravagant. Having a major medical crisis while so far away from home poses a unique set of circumstances the family is attempting to navigate. We are asking that the community they have so tirelessly served for so long please show up for them so they can cover their expenses and focus on Bill's recovery! Give what you are able and please share.
