Please Help Bill Recover from a Traumatic Brain Injury

My brother Bill was recently involved in a tragic accident that caused severe head trauma. As a result, he has been diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Bill's condition is dire, and he does not have health insurance to cover the enormous ongoing medical expenses he and his family now face.

About Bill:

Bill is not just my brother; he is a veteran and a beloved father, husband, friend, and arborist. His landscaping business has been the primary source of financial support for his family — his wife and daughter. Bill is such a loving, hardworking, funny man, and this accident has changed him and his family forever.

The Financial Strain:

Currently, the family is in deep medical debt, which continues to accrue daily, from expenses of the ICU where he was in a coma, to the trauma center where he is now working hard to recover. Bill has miraculously come out of the coma, but his TBI means he needs to re-learn basic skills such as eating, talking, walking, and writing.

His wife has been remarkably strong, driving three hours every day to be by Bill's side in the hospital while still managing to work extra hours to support their family. However, they are struggling to make ends meet — facing monthly bills, including mortgage and business loan payments, on top of the overwhelming medical expenses.
