Hi everyone! My name is Billy Longacre, and I’m reaching out this holiday season and for my birthday to ask for your support in helping me achieve my lifelong dream of becoming a pilot.

I’m a student at Metropolitan State University of Denver, pursuing a degree in Aviation Management after switching from Professional Flight Officer due to financial challenges. Flight training is incredibly expensive, and without a creditworthy co-signer or sufficient income as a full-time student, I wasn’t approved for the part 141 flight training loan.

Instead, I’m now training under part 61 regulations, which requires 1,500 flight hours—500 more than part 141—to qualify for the airlines. While this has been a setback, it’s also opened new doors for me in general aviation as I work toward my ultimate goal.

The cost of flight training, plane rentals, and instructor fees add up quickly. I’ve been working hard to balance school, flight training, and work, but the financial burden is significant. Your contributions would go directly toward my flight hours and training expenses, helping me move one step closer to the skies.

A career in aviation has been my dream since I was a kid, inspired by my mom's work with airplanes and my love for exploring new landscapes. Despite the challenges, I’m determined to make this dream a reality.
