Support Billy's Recovery and Medical Needs

Hi, my name is Carly my step-dad and mom is in need of some help. Billy is a type 1 diabetic and in the last couple weeks he's went into DKA 6 times. This last time it sent him to ICU, and later found out he was needing surgery. He had surgery today, and they took most of his colon out. Now he has a feeding tube, colostomy bag, and his stomach is still open. The doctors are saying he will have to have this for 6 months, and after the 6 months they will reevaluate it to see if he needs it further. He has no medical insurance, and will be on several different medications, and also will have to buy all the supplies in order to change the bag. At this time he won't be able to work for at least 6 months if not longer. I'm asking for help so that way it will take a little bit off my mom being she will be the sole provider, and caretaker of him. Billy doesn't know he's even had surgery yet or what's happened as of yet because the anesthesia hasn't wore off yet.
