This is a private fundraising effort to support Black families, including ME, through direct wealth redistribution and debt relief.
A significant portion of the funds raised through this campaign will support my own family, and additional funds will be shared with other Black families whose identities will remain private. All funds raised through this effort are used exclusively for debt relief and related financial burdens, with the intention of reducing harm caused by systemic inequity and long-term financial strain. Debt relief may include, but is not limited to, housing-related debt, legal or medical obligations, taxes, student loans, credit cards, and other financial burdens impacting family stability.
This fundraiser does not involve an application process. Families are selected privately and intentionally, and distributions are made with care and discernment in alignment with the purpose of collective debt relief. Distributions may occur over time based on individual circumstances, urgency, and capacity. To protect the privacy and dignity of all families involved, individual details, receipts, or public accounting records will not be publicly shared.
Contributions to this fundraiser are considered personal gifts and are not tax-deductible. No goods, services, or benefits will be exchanged or provided in return for contributions at any time or for any reason. This fundraiser is not affiliated with any businesses or professional offerings.

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here. I’m the creator and steward of this fund.
In short: I created this initiative to assist in paying off the combined debt of five selected Black families, including my own. Contributions made here will be used to support these families directly in addressing their debt, as they determine is most impactful for their lives and stability.
There are no strings attached—simply contribute, and funds will be used for debt relief. It’s simple, and it’s powerful. This fundraiser exists solely to support Black families in reducing the weight of financial debt.

The longer story
Nearly every day, I think about what it would mean to relieve Black folks of the stress and strain of financial debt. I know so many people—myself included—who are navigating debt, and I know how profoundly life can change when even a portion of that burden is lifted.
I know what it’s like to have only a few dollars left in your account, maxed-out credit cards, and still time before the next paycheck. While every Black family’s circumstances are different, it’s important to name that Black folks are owed a tremendous debt—one that can never be fully repaid. We cannot undo generations of harm, nor can we restore all that has been lost. But we can make tangible repairs in the present, and wealth redistribution is one meaningful way to do that.
When we consider the massive wealth accumulated through the exploitation of Black people—from slavery through the present—it becomes clear that wealth redistribution is an essential practice of repair, resistance, and liberation. It is something anyone can participate in, though too often those with the most do the least.
I’m inviting you to participate in this effort to support in the intention to relieve Black families from the weight of financial debt. The families for this round have already been selected—I simply need support to make this relief possible. Contributions of any size matter. Everyone can’t do everything, but everyone can do something. And when many people do a little, no one has to carry it all alone.
Please consider contributing and sharing this effort.

About the families being supported
I will not be sharing identifying details about the selected families. This is intentional. Protecting their privacy and dignity matters, and I believe wealth redistribution does not require surveillance, proof, or control.
In the spirit of integrity, I want to be clear that one of the families receiving debt relief through this fundraiser is my own. Black liberation includes me too. Funds will be used to address various forms of debt, including housing, education, medical, legal, and related financial obligations.
⸻
Our collective goal
The goal of this fundraiser is to raise $2.5 million, which will be used to support multiple Black families in paying down or eliminating debt, including mortgages, student loans, medical expenses, credit cards, taxes, legal fees, and similar obligations.
Funds will be distributed directly to families, including via direct transfers, for the sole purpose of debt relief.
