Support Black Mountain, Swannanoa, and I9 Hurricane Relief

Hi y’all, we’re fundraising for local relief of the Black Mountain/ Swannanoa/ I9 areas. Hurricane Helene significantly damaged main accessing roads, homes, and properties in a historical scale. Many have lost homes, and many more are without power, water, and cell service. What we’re trying to do is to get supplies into town for the locals who are cut off from basic resources. From our latest updates (9/29) it looks like this area will not regain power or water for up to a week if not longer. Locals are hard pressed to escape with most routes being closed due to landslides, and most being without gas to drive out.

My wife Lexi and I own a bakery in Black Mountain and take pride in the interconnected and supportive nature of our small mountain town community. Our hearts break for the families suffering such incredible loss.

All funds will be dispersed to these efforts: the purchasing of supplies being brought in from surrounding areas, relief money for people unable to make income as they wait for power and water to be restored, and local projects to supply food for locals and victims.
