Support Black Pride Ireland, a grassroots movement
Spende geschützt
Black Pride Ireland is a non-charity grassroots effort based in Dublin, Ireland, launched in August 2019. We are dedicated to the uplifting and nurturing of queer Black people across the island of Ireland. This is a necessary movement, working towards (among other issues) the abolition of the Direct Provision system here, and proper healthcare for trans people (particularly refugees and migrants).
In the past few days, we have seen tremendous support from the community, both online and offline, for BPI - thank you for this. Your money will go towards the following:
1. Funding educational efforts (i.e talks, lectures, workshops)
2. Material costs (i.e. art/stationery supplies, protective equipment like masks, gloves and wipes, the making/printing of banners, lanyards, badges and stickers, etc)
3. Paying future speakers and performers at our events
4. Other costs associated with the necessary organising work BPI undertakes (e.g. covering transport costs to & from our events for people not able to afford it)
