Support Blaine Thompson's Eagle Scout Project

Hi, my name is Blaine Thompson, and I’m a Life Scout from Boy Scout Troop 944 of Kernersville, NC. I have been a dedicated and hardworking scout for 7 years, and it’s always been a huge goal of mine to reach the rank of Eagle. I’m fundraising for my Eagle Project, which involves building a new parking lot and widening the road into the park for the Kernersville Mountain Bike Park.

Currently, there isn't a designated parking lot in the Bike Park. Unfortunately, riders have been blocked in or unable to have enough room to get out. There has also been difficulty getting in and out of the park on the one-lane road.

For my Eagle Scout project, I am widening the road so it can be two lanes, and I am clearing an area in the park to install 16 to 17 new parking spots that will be marked by railroad ties. Your generous donations will be used for the purchase of railroad ties, 6 loads of crushed asphalt, signage, and other needs for my project. Please consider donating to my project.
