With extremely heavy hearts, we share our beloved Blake “Bliss” Sadler entered her final resting place on September 6. Blake was surrounded by family and friends as stories were shared, scripture was read and music played.
Blake’s light shined bright here with us and will be forever bright in our life without her. Friday’s sunset the evening she passed was magnificent with shades of pink, Blake’s favorite color.
To know Blake is to love her. We all know, she will be steadfast in creating her story and presence from her forever home. There is a profound reason so many loved Blake. She loved well. We understand many of you wish to help Josh, Shayne, Addison, Preston and Griffin.
Josh has expressed his profound appreciation and gratitude since Blake’s diagnosis in March. Miraculously, he has managed a single parent household with humility and grace. While monetary assistance does not eliminate the grief in their hearts, we hope Josh and the kids can continue a new normal with a little less strain. Thank you for considering a financial contribution to assist the Sadler family. The love surrounding their family is something he, Blake and their four beautiful children will never forget.
Where there is grief, there is love. And we all know how much Blake loved.
“But this I call to mind,
and therefore I have hope:
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore I will hope in him.”
The Lord is good to those who wait for him,
to the soul who seeks him.
It is good that one should wait quietly
for the salvation of the Lord.” Lamentations 4:21-26
