Support & Bless Terri During This Difficult Time
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Holly Schilling, and my sister (Katie Kahre) and I are creating this account for our mother, Terri Allen. As many of you know, she is currently battling a severe illness while also trying to navigate through the tragedy of losing her beloved husband, Ken Allen, suddenly & unexpectedly. As you can imagine, this is all overwhelming & heartbreaking. Our mom is a fighter, and her faith is incredible. She continues to trust in God. We know He is faithful and good, and will work all things for His Glory for those who love Him.
She isn't currently aware we are creating this Gofundme account, but we feel we need to set our pride aside for her sake. Any funds donated will be used to help pay for healthcare costs that have, and are still incurring, as well as expenses related to Ken's passing.
Terri requires Oxygen 24/7, numerous medications, breathing treatments, and care. Her insurance is not the best, and has a very high deductible, unfortunately. Ken and our mom did not have life insurance set up, and so there are also those unexpected costs to care for.
We understand these times are difficult for all, and we ask that even if you're unable to contribute, that you would continue to lift Terri and this situation up in prayer. There is power in prayer. Some specific things to pray for:
1. For complete healing to her body, particularly her lungs. That her oxygen levels will increase and stabilize.
2. For increased strength & endurance.
3. For God's grace to cover her as she continues to serve Him.
4. For peace & comfort for Terri and all of Ken & Terri's children & grandchildren.
Terri and Ken are such servants of the Lord, and have dedicated their lives in this way. We know this would be difficult for them to ask for any help, so we are asking for them. Thank you for your prayers and any help you feel led to give.
(ALL funds raised will be given to Terri directly)
