Help liberate Bob Dylan crew tour booklets

We are raising funds to purchase Bob Dylan crew tour booklets to source new data and images for the bobserve.com setlist site. How many booklets can be purchased depends on how much is raised and what prices can be negotiated. The donation target is based on estimated cost of booklets that can currently be sourced.

WHO WE ARE

We are passionate Bob Dylan fans who created, operate, and research data for the bobserve.com website. A "support bobserve" link to this GoFundMe is on the front page of our website, to confirm authenticity.

WHAT IS A CREW TOUR BOOKLET?

These were produced to provide the crew with a list of tour dates, with a page per event that contains: venue (address, type, web site, capacity), concert times (including soundcheck), promoter names, support acts. They also provide internal tour names, crew tour artwork, tour leg divisions, and rehearsal dates.

WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH THE BOOKLETS?

All will be scanned, with each concert date image added to the relevant setlist page at bobserve, and the data itself will be integrated into the site. Scans of the complete books will be offered to anyone who donates to this campaign. The physical booklets may variously be resold or traded to fund further items specifically to benefit the website, resold to raise funds to cover bobserve running costs (the site has been fully self-funded to date), retained, or perhaps donated to the Bob Dylan Archive if they do not currently have them.

WHY SHOULD I DONATE?

Everyone interested in Bob Dylan concerts benefits from the new information and images that would be posted to bobserve. It is also a great way to support the site in general, especially if you've found it useful and want to see it continue to be enhanced.

In addition, we are offering to donors 12 months of bobserve beta access to not-yet-released features such as favoriting songs and concerts. These and other features are still in development and may change without notice, all of which means they are not guaranteed to work! :-) We would also love to hear your thoughts on these features, to help shape them for release.
