Tax deductible
US & Mexico Firefighters United is helping raise funds for Bomberos Rescate No Limits located Camalu, Baja California Mexico (New municipality in the San Quintin area) for maintenace repairs for their ambulance and fire engine.
Bomberos Recate No Limits responds to approx 400 calls for service a year for the local area for fire and medical emergencies. Their response area is vast and covers very remote areas for medical and fire emergencies. Bomberos Recate No Limits is also one of the few ambulances providers in the are that will transport injured and sick American tourist from the area to the U.S/Mexico border for further patient care in the United States.
With such a large area to cover and exremely long transports to the U.S/Mexico border to transport injured and sick American tourist to the border to transfer care to U.S Ambulance providers, they have put a lot of wear and tear on their ambulance and at this time their only ambulance is in desprite need of mechanical repairs to continues the level of medical care and transport services in the area. Along with their only ambulance, their only fire engine is also in need of new tires and minor pump repairs.
In May of 2024, Bomberos Rescate No LImits transported an American firefighter from CAL FIRE who was injured in a motorcycle accident in San Quintin area. The firefighter was in serious condition and Bomberos Recate No LImits where the only ambulance provider in the area that was able to transport the injured firefighter to the U.S/Mexico border where is was transfered to a U.S. Ambulance provider, which later transported him to a San Diego area Trauma Center. Their ability to be the only fire department and ambulance provider in the area wiling to transport the injured firefighter to the U.S/Mexico border for further care was vital to saving the life of the injured american firefighter.
U.S & Mexico Firefighters United is proud to assist Bomberos Rescate No Limits in raising the funds they need to cover the cost and parts needed to keep their ambulance and fire engine running and in service to provide the fire & EMS needs to their community and to American tourist that may in the future be injured on their response are, and need transport to the U.S /Mexico border for advanced medical care.
