Our Friend Bonnie Needs Our Help
Our beloved friend Bonnie Raindrop is battling metastatic ovarian cancer. The surgery she went through was complicated and extensive. Her recovery has been slowly upward, but the path forward will be long and arduous.
Bonnie has spent her entire life giving and carving iconoclastic paths where none existed: Baltimore Resources Journal for holistic health and environmental issues; Voices of Women Journal & Expos; Whole Living Expos; advocating protections for our disappearing honeybees; devoting many years of tireless work to Maryland Pesticide Education Network and its Smart on Pesticides Coalition; giving to others in need; stepping up and stepping in when no one else would. In brief, Bonnie's spirit of active generosity and loving care is, and always has been, boundless.
Bonnie needs us now. It's time for her to receive rather than give. Unfortunately, her health insurance is not covering all the many expenses incurred during her three-week hospitalization and continuing treatment.
Let's offer her the support that she deserves and needs.
Please give what you can now and spread the word about her Go Fund Me page to others who know Bonnie, and with your friends and family members who might also respond to her situation with empathy and generosity.
We love you, Bonnie!
Thank you so much for all you are doing to make this happen!
