Support Bonnie's Family Through Tough Times

Dear Friends & Family,

I am reaching out to you today on behalf of my dear friend Bonnie and her family, who are facing an incredibly difficult time. On Saturday, May 11, 2024, Bonnie's parents were involved in a devastating auto accident that tragically claimed the life of her beloved mother, Judy. Her father survived but sustained serious injuries and will require 24/7 supervision during his recovery over the next 12 weeks.

Bonnie, who is already grappling with the emotional turmoil of losing her mother, is now faced with the daunting task of juggling her new job responsibilities while ensuring her father receives the care and attention he needs. Her kids are forfeiting summer jobs to help care for their grandpa. In addition, her husband Tim has not been cleared to seek employment yet since immigrating from Wales. Unfortunately, Bonnie doesn’t have paid leave at this time as she has only been at this position less than 90 days, putting her family in a precarious financial situation.

Funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will directly contribute to covering essential expenses such as transportation to doctor visits (approximately an hour each way) and basic living expenses for Bonnie's family when she is required to miss work. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will be immensely appreciated and will provide much-needed relief for Bonnie and her family as they focus on her father’s well-being.

We understand that not everyone may be in a position to contribute financially, and that's okay. Your thoughts, prayers, and words of encouragement are just as valuable during this trying time.
