Support Boone Family After Mudslide Tragedy

Update: As news comes out of continued tragedy and loss, not just of property but of human life, my parents (in their typical selfless fashion) ask you to consider donating to one of the following resources before this gofundme. Samaritans Purse: 

Samaritans Purse is A 501(c)(3) located in Boone, NC. They are mobilizing volunteers to assist homeowners affected by Hurricane Helene with tree work, debris cleanup, roof tarping, and mud outs. They've set up a field hospital with oxygen in Boone. Their current base of operations in the High Country is at Alliance Bible Fellowship. Their motto is 'Go and do likewise.' Wine to Water is an international nonprofit based out of Boone, NC dedicated to providing clean water to underserved communities throughout the world. We are now honored to serve our own community in this time of need. We are responding to the devastating impacts of Hurricane Helene across the Southeast. Hi! I am raising money for my parents whose home, located in Boone, NC, got hit by a mudslide during Helene. Their cars are severely damaged and half of the house is gone. Praise God that everyone is alive and well. Insurance does not cover landslides so they will not help expense wise. 

My sister captured the mudslide on video as it was happening.

They are still without power and running water but have food and drinking water stored up.

All donations will go towards reconstruction efforts. My parents requested that you DO NO DONATE  if money is tight.
