Support Braden Carberry’s Family

On January 8, 2025, this Fergus family suffered an unimaginable tragic loss. The loss of a husband, a father, a son, an uncle, a friend, a coworker, and a fellow fisherman and hunter. Braden was tragically killed while on the job. He was a cherished and respected member of the City of Guelph Bylaw and Security Department for the past 13 years. Prior to that he worked for the City of Toronto for 18 years in various capacities. Braden was also a valued member of the King City Fire Department for 6 years.

With all of the love and condolences the family has been receiving, many people have been reaching out to the family asking how they can help during these times. As such, we have set up this Go Fund Me page to support Kaylie, Blair, Colten and Chase in the interim of this tragedy.

So many are devastated by Braden’s death and we want his family to be able to navigate these difficult days ahead and to provide the memorial he deserves and to help with expenses for the family.

As per his wishes, the family hopes to make a donation in Braden’s name for any amount raised in excess to Ducks Unlimited Canada, an organization dedicated to outdoor conservation of wetlands and other natural spaces that Braden cherished.
