Support Brady’s Recovery: Conquering Sepsis & Its Aftermath

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts to share the story of Dr. Brady Cotler, a beloved member of the brotherhood of Salesianum High School and an esteemed Biopharmaceutical professional. Brady's journey has taken an unexpected turn as he battles against the devastating effects of sepsis.

Brady's educational journey led him to Juniata College, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in science, and later to Temple University, where he achieved his Doctor of Pharmacy degree. However, despite his accomplishments, Brady's life has been dramatically altered by his recent illness at the young age of 29.

Sepsis, a life-threatening condition, swiftly overtook Brady's body, leading to liver and kidney failure. In a desperate bid to save his life, Brady has undergone quadruple amputations, losing both of his hands and parts of his legs. Additionally, he has suffered a stroke due to blood clots.

Despite the immense challenges he is facing, Brady remains in good spirits and is grateful to be alive and in the company of his mother, Cindy. However, his journey to recovery is long and arduous, filled with countless medical procedures, extensive wound care, physical therapy sessions, and the need for prosthetics to regain some semblance of normalcy.

Brady remains in critical condition undergoing surgeries multiple times per week to make every attempt at limb salvage, skin debridement, preparation for skin grafts and eventually reconstructive surgeries.

We are reaching out to our community, friends, and supporters to rally behind Brady during this difficult time. Your generosity will help alleviate the burden of unexpected medical bills, covering the costs of surgeries, ongoing medical treatments, specialized care, physical therapy, and the necessary prosthetics to aid in Brady's rehabilitation. Brady and his mother will be facing hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical expenses but we are starting with a goal of $25,000.
