Support Braedyn's Recovery from Severe Burns
Donation protected
Braedyn was adopted by his foster parents Nicole and Clyde Aikens after two years in foster care. Braedyn's foster parents, Nicole and Clyde, won the Champion for Children's Award in Livingston County in 2023. They were given this award because of their open heart, their love for fostering children, and their commitment to changing children's lives. Braedyn is a vibrant, energetic 11 year old boy who attends Fowlerville Schools. On January 8th, Braedyn was playing with a lighter around a snowmobile when it exploded and his body caught fire. Braedyn suffered severe burns to 47% of his little body. Currently he is in critical condition in Mott Children's Hospital ICU and his status is minute by minute. The Aikens family have two other adopted children at home too. The family will need immense financial and emotional support as they navigate a new path forward. Your generous donation will help with their hospital expenses and will compensate for lost wages while they keep a vigil at Braedyn's bedside and care for him in the future. We are hoping to exceed our modest goal of $10K. Every little bit helps!
