Support Brandi's Fight to Save JorgieBoy

My names Brandi Botello, I have a SpiderMonkey named JorgieBoy that was Born on February 14th 2022. He’s now 2yrs 9months he was recently taken away from me Friday morning by the DPD because I was involved in a car accident. I’m currently dealing with that situation as well because I’m getting accused of being the driver.

i was sent to the hospital and was released within a few hours. I immediately went straight to the Westmorland Animal Shelter In Dallas Tx. I was told I had to have 3 permits and Shot records unfortunately shot records were the only thing I was able to provide. I was told I had 10days … Saturday and Sunday the facility was closed, Monday came and I was there as soon as the doors opened just to learn that he was transferred over to the Irving Animal Shelter due to it being veterans Day they were closed so I had to wait until today November 12th at 1pm until they opened for them to tell me that In the city of Irving they’re not allowed to have “wild animals” and their policy is that if they ever received a “wild animals” they have to immediately send them to a Wild Animal Sanctuary. These past few days have been the hardest Days of my life I’m devastated. I can’t eat, I can’t sleep, I can’t sit still… I’m so use to waking up every morning with him hugging my face we do everything together we share food, we take baths together I’m willing to keep trying my hardest to get him back home. It breaks my heart knowing his probably caged up when he’s never been in one before he’s with me 24/7. He’s VERY well taking care of! I’m all he knows … Jorgieboy has his own personality he’s not a regular monkey he’s very well known Across the US.
