Support Brandon’s Endeavor to Rebuild.

On the night of September 26, my brother, Brandon Young, was working one of his last two shifts as a dispatcher for HCA in Buncombe county. When he left that evening for his shift, he would never again return to his home as he knew it.

the devastating flood that barreled through WNC as a result of Hurricane Helene, demolished Brandon’s home from the inside out, destroying 99% of what was inside, then moving to the outside to knock the home off the foundation and pummel any hope of its repair.

If you know Brandon personally, you know he is a survivor and he will preserver through this trial, however, I am personally asking that friends, family, and even generous strangers to reach out to help Brandon replace all he has lost. The only things he has are the clothes that were on his back and his Bible he was able to rescue, as during the storm it floated to the door within reach (pictured above).

Since Brandon came back to Yancey County, he has spent as much time as he is physically able serving our community through dispatching at the sheriffs department.

We know the need for so many is so severe, and Brandon would never ever ask for help on his own…so I am here to do that for him. Please consider a small donation if you are able…and PLEASE keep Brandon in your prayers as he begins the process of rebuilding and recovering.
