About Street Child United Brazil (SCUB)

SCUB is a registered nonprofit organization based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. We provide safe play soccer opportunities for children in Morro do Caracol, Complexo da Penha, a community in the northern part of the city.

Our Mission & Impact

Founded in 2015 as a legacy of the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the Street Child World Cup, we use soccer as a tool for social development, empowerment, and inclusion. Our programming includes:

⚽ Safe Play Spaces – Ensuring children have a secure environment to play and grow.

⚽ Soccer for Development Programs – Using the game to teach life skills, leadership, and resilience.

⚽ Girls' Soccer Tournaments – Delivering annual competitions in partnership with Rexona & Unilever.

⚽ Majority Female Coaches – Championing gender equality in sports leadership.

Representing Brazil on the Global Stage

We are proud to have represented Brazil in the Street Child World Cup in 2014, 2018, and 2022, a soccer world cup that supports kids who live or work on the streets.

About The Sports Creative

The Sports Creative is a U.S.-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a proud partner of Street Child United Brazil. Received donations will directly be allocated to SCUB to be used at their discretion for the Street Child World Cup 2026 in the USA.
