Support Bri and Bill Counter During This Uncertain Time

Hello, my name is Alexandra Ohlsen and I’ve started this GoFundMe for my best friend, Brianne Counter, and her father, Billy Counter, as they are both going through an unimaginably difficult time. Bill’s health began to decline more than a year ago, and he learned from the doctors that he didn’t have much time left. In March, he made the decision to move out to Colorado Springs to be with Bri and to hopefully prolong the life he has left. Since then, he has been in and out of the hospital several times for various necessary and lifesaving procedures.

This past Sunday, Bill was taken to Memorial Central with uncontrollable bleeding. He is currently sedated and intubated in the ICU, and the doctors are saying it’s a miracle he is still holding on. Bri has been by her father’s side every moment during his time in the hospital. While no one can know what exactly the future holds for Bill, he will undoubtedly remain in the hospital for the time being and will have a long road ahead of him if he is able to pull through.

As you can imagine, this has taken an immense emotional toll on Bri. She is dedicated to staying by her father’s side while he is in the hospital, but they are both in need of some financial support to manage the expenses that come with an uncertain situation like this, as Bri is unsure when she will be able to return to work. I ask now for the help of our friends, family, and community to please help my best friend and her dad in any way you can.
