Support Brian and Angie in these trying times.

Hi, our names are Chris, Samantha and Cassie, and we have created this Go Fund Me in hopes of helping our parents in these times of need.
Since the early 90's, our dad has been suffering from a debilitating disease
called Dupuytrens Contracture in his hands and feet. This condition affects a layer of tissue that lies under the skin of the palms. As a result, knots of tissue form under the skin, eventually creating a thick cord that can pull on or more fingers into a bent position. Unfortunately, the disease has escalated to this, and his fingers
have curled up, making it hard to grasp things and impossible to straighten his fingers fully. He has also struggled with Neurofibromatosis (tumors that grow or form in the brain, spinal cord and nerves). Because of the pressure on his feet from being on them for numerous hours, this disease has caused a continuous open wound on the bottom of his foot that has to be covered. Even with little to no pressure on his foot, one step can cause this wound to reopen. He has been through countless
pairs of shoes to make being on his feet as comfortable as possible, not to mention special inserts that still don't quite do the job. Despite all the medical obstacles he has gone through and the constant doctors he has seen, he never stopped working to provide for his family at all costs. As the years have gone by, he has suffered incredibly from severe pain, several surgeries and infections that are too many to count. Yet, he is prideful and works very hard while in excruciating pain.
Dupuytren's

To top it off, On December 15th, 2021, our father tested positive for covid. He was found in his home, unable to move and needed to be transported by ambulance to the hospital. He, unfortunately, stayed for 18 days, slowly requiring total oxygen to help him breathe. On January 1st, 2022, he was discharged, but his recovery still wasn't over. He needed oxygen 24/7 at home and multiple visits from home hospice/therapy. Throughout the upcoming weeks, he also had many visits with his cardiologist and pulmonologist, as well as his primary care, orthopedist and neurologist, until he could finally be cleared for work on March 28th, 2022. With all these medical hurdles, tests and back-to-back doctors appointments, the finances have fallen significantly behind. Our parents have now been informed that the house they live in is being sold and they must move. With their income being little to nothing and nothing saved, they are having a difficult time with medical bills and utility bills and trying to come up with the money to get a new place to live. Any help is appreciated. If donations aren't a possibility, we ask that you share.
