Support Brian Casey Settle's Road to Recovery

Hello Everyone,

As most of my friends and family know, my dad, Brian Casey Settle, was involved in a truck/18 wheeler collision on January 6, 2025, 31 days ago. It was no doubt a miracle from God that he was not killed on impact as he was driving the smaller truck. He was CareFlighted to Abilene Hendricks Hospital’s trauma center where they were literally able to save his life. The accident resulted in most of his limbs being broken, his lungs punctured, and severe head trauma. He was recently transferred from Abilene to a specialty neuro rehab facility at UT Southwestern Hospital in Dallas due to his significant traumatic brain injury. We are so thankful to God for how far he has brought my Dad to this point in his long road of recovery. There are still many months left in his rehabilitation and recovery from this horrific accident.

Many of my family and friends have encouraged me to set up a Go Fund Me account to help with all the costs and expenses associated with the care for my Dad. I am a single mom of a 5 year old little girl, and we are living together with my Dad out in the country near Snyder, Texas. I work as a realtor in Snyder, while Dad works at a local construction company. Since the time of the collision, neither of us of course have been able to work. As an only child, I have been by his side most each and every day for the last thirty days, praying over my Dad, holding his hand, and being there for encouragement and support, and his voice when he has been unable to speak. With all the time that I have lost at work and for all the future may hold in his recovery, our income has been greatly reduced as our expenses have increased for hotels, gas for travel between our home and Abilene, and now our home and Dallas, and all the associated expenses for being away from home. This has put an incredible financial strain on our family. We would greatly appreciate any financial assistance anyone can provide to help with these additional expenses and costs that we are incurring in this time of our life. Thank you and God Bless
