Hi, my name is Brian Cote. On February 2nd, 2024, I was at a physical and I received a pneumonia shot. On February 13th or 14th, I started feeling weak. On Saturday, February 17th, I couldn't move. I went to the doctor and he sent me to the ER. Within 30 minutes, I was getting a spinal tap. Shortly after, I was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome.
- I lost 35 pounds in 6 days at the hospital. I was receiving plasma infusions. I had to learn how to walk again and a lot more. Since then, I have gone through a divorce due to my condition, been rear-ended by a guy in a stolen car. All of my bank accounts were hacked. Disability doesn't pay on time and all of my perfect credit score is gone. I am in debt. I'm just trying to keep it together. There is so much more. Also due to the illness I lost my muscle body. The doctors said that I didn't get completely paralyzed and was walking within 3 weeks was because it ate my muscle. Total body, mind and life rebuild. Due to disability not paying me for a month and a half I had tobput all my bills on credit cards I took a loan out before I was disabled to pay for some credit cards my ex wife racked up ,then I had to use that loan to pay my bills. I'm negative $22,000. They were turning my power off yesterday. The VA won't treat me for therapy because I am not disabled through the military and I made too much money last year.
