Support Brian LeBlanc's Fight for Recovery

I am Brian Krassenstein, a very close friend of Courtney and Brian LeBlanc. This is a photo of my dear friend Brian LeBlanc. On Wednesday, June 26th, Brian went into a planned and much needed cervical procedure that was to alleviate constant pain he has been feeling on his spinal cord for a year and a half. Something went terribly wrong during surgery and now our incredible friend, loving husband, son, uncle, and brother is in neuro ICU fighting for his survival after a subsequent large stroke.

Brian had four major surgeries within 24 hours on Wednesday June 26th, including one that removed part of his skull. Everyone near and dear to Brian is shocked and devastated by these unforeseen circumstances. He has been surrounded by love, and everyone is making sure that he is comfortable. The three surgeries to keep him alive were successful. The doctors and the nurses at OLOL NCCU are phenomenal.

Update: Brian has been getting inpatient therapy (Speech, Occupational, and Physical) and has reached quite a few milestones. His road to recover is long, and every milestone is a small victory. Brian is a fighter!

The ongoing circumstances related to Brian's recovery have created a financial uncertainty for the LeBlanc family and Brian's devoted wife, Courtney. We ask for continued prayers, collective good wishes and unwavering hope to bring Brian back into wellness and a good life.
