Support Brianna Ragsdale

Hello Friends, Family, and Brothers and Sisters in Blue. As some of you may have heard, Brianna Ragsdale was working on duty as a police officer with the Colorado Springs Police Department and began having a seizure while parked in her police cruiser. Her best friend was doing a ride along with her and noticed the signs of the seizure and immediately acted. Another officer came into the area and called medical. After Brianna was transported to a nearby hospital and she was informed she had 3 masses in her left frontal lobe of her brain. After a biopsy was completed she spoke to a neurosurgeon who informed her she has cancer. 

An appointment with neurology in the following days revealed that Brianna has a rare type of tumor called an astrocytoma. It’s believed it’s grade 3 (1 being the best and 4 being the worst). The good news - other than the seizure, Brianna has no neurological symptoms of a tumor. Brianna’s doctors is 

very happy that Brianna is so healthy and functional despite the three tumors that are in one of the most important parts of her brain that is responsible to speech, language, decision making, and personality.
