Support Brice as He Battles Cancer

Hello, my name is Kelly Finn.

As many of you already know, my amazing brother-in-law Brice Puetz has recently been diagnosed with Cancer.

Brice is a loving, devoted husband to my sister (Kathy), a proud father of 3 wonderful kids (Bria, Kailey, & Jacob), and a great friend. He works hard everyday and still finds time to help family and friends when they need him. Whether it's helping you move or fixing something at your house, he always makes time to help those in need. That is the kind of person he is.

In mid-April of this year, Brice's severe abdominal pain led to an emergency hospitalization. It was discovered that he had several blood clots in his lungs and some fluid build-up surrounding his abdominal wall. A biopsy confirmed that Cancer was present, and Brice was immediately seen by his Oncologist. He had been diagnosed with Appendiceal Cancer 5 years ago, and although doctors thought they had removed all of the cancerous tissues in a prior operation, the cancer has now metastasized to several areas in his peritoneum (abdominal wall), and it is unfortunately incurable. As you can imagine, Brice, Kathy, and their children are devastated.

He immediately started chemotherapy to try and slow the progression of the Cancer and hopefully lessen his pain by shrinking the tumors that are present. We are ever hopeful that future advancements in Cancer research will provide more treatment options for Brice down the line. This GoFundMe is being set up to offset the past, present, and future insurance copays, out-of-pocket expenses, and mortgage & bill payments that need to be paid even when there may be future gaps in income due to Brice's condition. I also hope that some of these funds may be used to check an item or two off of Brice's bucket list. Now more than ever, the time & memories Brice has with his family & friends are priceless.

By contributing, you will help to relieve some of the financial anxiety surrounding this diagnosis. Right now, Brice really needs to focus on his treatments and spend time with his loved ones. The added stress of unpaid bills is not something I want him to have to worry about at this time.
