support Bristol charity after fascist threats

Hello! We are raising funds for a small charity, 1625 Independent People, in Old Market that was impacted by announcements of fascist riots on Wednesday, August 7th. The local charity used their funds to pay for boarding up their windows to protect themselves from racist groups.

Old Market was targeted as it is a lively multicultural hub in Bristol. There are charities in the heart of this street, such as 1625 Independent People, that support homeless youth and asylum seekers. Funds that go towards supporting youth were used in an emergency to protect the their building from ill intended groups. Bristol showed it cares for these charities and businesses as thousands showed up ready to stand up for the rights of immigrants, POC, and asylum seekers.

We are hoping to contribute whatever we can to ensure our community is protected from discrimination. Please help us raise money for people that are at the heart of what Bristol stands for.
