Support Brittany on her Journey Through Cancer Treatments

Donation protected
Hey everyone,

For anyone who knows Brittany, you know just how strong of a person she is. She is the most loving and “do anything for anyone” person you could have in your life. She and her husband, Stanson, are the best parents to their two toddler boys. Almost a week ago, her family’s life got turned upside down when they found out she had cancer in her colon, both ovaries, stomach and liver. Immediately, all of her loved ones began praying for God to watch over her, give her the strength to face the challenges ahead, offer peace and comfort during uncertainty and of course, for healing. A few days after receiving the worst news, they received hopeful news. Brittany was diagnosed with B-cell lymphoma, what her doctors believe is Burkitt’s lymphoma. This is a fast growing, very aggressive type of lymphoma. Even though it is aggressive it responds considerably well to chemotherapy and steroids. Brittany’s team of doctors have given the family hope that she will beat this and return to her life, being the best wife, mom, daughter, niece and friend she can be- cancer free!!

Brittany has already started taking steroids and other medications as well as started her first round of chemotherapy in the hospital. The doctors have advised that it is best for her and her overall health that she stay in the hospital for her first round of chemotherapy. She has been in the ER and hospital for almost a week and will be there until her first round of chemotherapy is complete before sending her home. She will receive 6 total rounds of chemotherapy treatments.

Brittany and her family feel like there has been a huge weight lifted off of them and they can finally catch their breath because they are hopeful for the future. I am sure everyone can agree that there is no amount of money comparable to making sure someone can be healed and healthy. So although the medical bills will be coming in, Brittanys health is all she and her family care about. This Go Fund Me was created so that the Heath’s can still feel like the weight is not as heavy as those medical bills begin to show up. They are asking for your continued prayers, love, and any financial contribution you can make to help cover medical bills, treatments, and other expenses during this time. Your generosity will provide comfort as they focus on healing and recovery.

To show Brittanys personality I would like to share a few things. During a phone call, a few hours after receiving the cancer news Brittany made jokes about how uncomfortable the beds are in the hospital and said “what can you do but laugh”. While people have hugged her and cried to her, Brittany simply tells them “don’t be sad.” She has never wavered from her faith saying “I just have to pray God knows what He is doing.”

She is facing a long, difficult road to recovery so now, it’s our turn to lift her and her family up during this difficult time.
