Support Brody's Fight and Family's Struggle

On Friday, May 24th, around 4:30pm, Brody Wages and his 2 friends were in a horrific 4-wheeler accident that involved a truck that struck the boys as they were driving. Brody’s 2 friends have now been sent home to recover. Unfortunately, Brody is still fighting.

Brody was airlifted to UMC in Jackson, MS. His injuries are critical. He has 2 broken collarbones, 3 broken ribs, his tibia on his right leg is broken, along with a punctured lung… the major focus at this moment is bleeding and swelling of the brain. The doctors are taking the best care of him and have inserted a catheter in his head, that as of now, is keeping the blood draining from his brain. Brody is being kept sedated while his dad and grandma wait patiently, holding his hand, and praying for his recovery and for him to wake up. He's far from out of the woods yet. The brain is the main focus right now and the main concern.

David will be out of work for at least weeks and we are scared that it might even be longer. And Brody’s grandma has been forced to retire at this moment so that she can stay with her grand son and help in his recovery and therapy once Brody wakes up. We’re asking for donations, so that during this difficult time, he can sit by his son's side without worry of the lack of income. Not only has David had to pay for hotel stays already since this occurred, but the everyday life bills do not stop. The amount of medical bills that will be coming in as well, will be very overwhelming and difficult to pay while out of work. Even with working, they will be super difficult to pay due to the amount that is incurring.

We ask for donations to help this family out in this time. So that while they are worrying about Brody, we can try to eliminate some of the extra worries of life.

David sends a message that he is praying that both of the 2 friends have a fast and easy recovery. He prays for them daily. He also asks for continued prayers for Brody. And expresses his deep appreciation for all prayers and/or help he and his family receives. He was deeply moved by the gesture of any help at all.
