The Historic Brookline VT Meeting House was built as the Brookline Baptist Church in 1836. It is currently owned by the Town of Brookline and serves as a gathering place and event space for the Community. Work to reclaim this historical treasure has been steady over the past 10 years. The Brookline Meetinghouse Committee is committed to maintaining the historic nature of this building, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. However, it does need further restoration and rehabilitation to fully serve this purpose.
In 2025, our goal is to repair weather-damaged exterior woodwork on the wooden annex, address moisture damage to the interior, and make the facility ADA accessible.
To accomplish this, we hope we can count on your help to continue improvements and repairs!
The Meeting House is located at 632 Grassy Brook Road in Brookline, VT.
