- My name is Rose Carrasquillo. I am the friend and caregiver for Michael aka Bruce and Eileen Miller, who are in their 70s and are handicapped. In November of 2023, they suffered a traumatic loss. The house they lived in for over 20 years caught on fire due to a grease fire in the kitchen. The kitchen was destroyed, and the rest of the house was gutted due to smoke damage throughout the remainder of the house. Subsequently, they have lived away in a rented house for over a year. There is no more money for a rental, and they must move into their unfinished house by December 2024. If you have ever renovated a house, you know it takes longer than planned and costs more than expected. At this point, they are moving into an unfinished house with no kitchen, no flooring, and no furniture. With the cold weather here, it will be tough. So please, can you help my friends?
