Support Bruce and Sandy during Bruce's cancer battle

We are reaching out to ask for your support as Bruce battles terminal cancer alongside Sandy. Over the past couple of years, Bruce has faced significant health challenges, and now they're grappling not just emotionally and physically, but financially too. Short timeline of how things have progressed to this point. In the fall of 2022 , it was discovered that Bruce had a brain bleed that required an emergency craniotomy. While healing it was discovered he had a high white blood count which was diagnosed in January/February 2023 as a terminal, rare form of leukemia called CMML. The only option for a cure was a stem cell transplant, which could be performed at The James Cancer Center in Columbus Ohio. Bruce and Sandy moved to Columbus for six months, but two donor matches didn't work out. In December Bruce developed Pyoderma Gangrenosum which disqualified him from the transplant program.

These incidents have caused Sandy to miss many days from work and incur mounting expenses from travel, lodging, medical supplies that insurance wouldn't cover, and reduced salary for missed time from work. Despite all this, they have remained strong and continue to take each day as it comes. They appreciate any help and prayers.
