Help My Brother & Sister-in-Law Rebuild Their Bakery After a Devastating Fire.

Where do I start… My heart is breaking as I write this. A fire tore through Bryan and Charissa’s beloved bakery Serial Grillers & Killer Sweets, leaving their bakery completely destroyed and the building severely damaged. The fire spread quickly, causing extensive damage to the structure. Sadly, due to the extent of the damage, the bakery storefront is closed indefinitely, and we’re not even sure if they’ll be able to return to the same building at this point or when.

While they had insurance, it won’t come close to covering the costs needed to rebuild everything. The bakery was their dream and passion, a place where they poured their hearts into creating the most amazing treats, but also where they created a welcoming space for the community to gather. It breaks my heart to see how much they’ve lost.

But despite the destruction, we are incredibly thankful that no one was hurt. Things could have been much worse. As difficult as this is, we know that God is good, and He will see them through this trial. As it says in James 1:2-3, “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.” This is another chapter in their story—a story of resilience, faith, and a belief that even in the face of destruction, hope remains.

The bakery has been a cherished part of the community, serving not just food but joy, memories, and love. From birthdays to weddings and all types of celebrations, Bryan and Charissa have been there for many of you, and now they need your help. Whether it’s through a donation or simply sharing this message, we are deeply grateful for any support as they navigate this long road to rebuilding.

No fire can take away the memories, the love, or the faith they’ve built. With your help and God’s guidance, they will rise again and continue serving the community they love so much.
