Donation protected
My son in law Bryan was involved in a work accident on 5.9.2024.
A large piece of metal from a hammer went through his safety glasses and through his eye. Last night he was rushed from Plymouth Hospital to Mass General. He has had one surgery to remove the piece of metal . As of right now they are just trying to save his eye. High probability he will lose his sight 100%, but they are certainly doing everything possible to save it.
Bryan is the sole provider for his little family of 4. Bailey just turned 5 last week and Charleejane is 1. Bryan and Sydnie need help with keeping some normalcy for their daughters and bills will continue to come in. Please help with traveling cost and the essentials to keep providing for the girls. Times are hard enough without having this medical emergency add to the uncertainties of what the next few days and weeks will require with his care. Any amounts would be greatly appreciated.
I will continue to update as I receive more information
Thank you from our whole hearts
UPDATE FROM BRYAN 6.11.24
Bryan’s message to update everyone
Doctors appointment went very well. Dr Vavvas was very impressed with how everything looks and is healing, my cornea is okay and healing! Even though my iris is very misshaped it is okay and will get its shape back soon. They were also very impressed and hopeful with how much vision I have gotten back. Still out of work for another month but they will remove some sutures and fit me for a contact lens to see if we can get things to focus more at my next appointment in a month. Not anticipating surgery any time soon so now just slow healing with no restrictions except no work and need an eye shield at night still
