Support for Brylind & His Family
Wednesday October the 23rd Brylind went to the emergency room at Portland Providence, he was experiencing numbness on his left side and wasn’t sure what was going on. Shortly after arriving he suffered a stroke.
It was discovered that he had torn the artery leading to his brain, blood was pooling there and blood clots formed. The blood clots were then dislodged and travelled up into his brain.
He is making progress so that is hopeful for his recovery. The doctors think he will be able to start in-patient rehab this coming week.
Currently he’s out of the ICU and on the Neuro floor. He is now swallowing and able to talk.
Brylind’s family is requesting some privacy as they have plenty of helping hands at the moment.
They will need financial assistance to pay hospital bills, for the rehab he will need and for Sophie taking time off work. A meal train will be arranged when the family is ready.
Please keep Brylind and his family in your thoughts and prayers. He is such a fighter and a strong person, with the excellent medical care he’s getting and the support of friends and family we feel like he’ll make it out of this even stronger than before.
Updates will be posted on Brylind’s progress.
