Support Bubby's Journey to Frosted Faces

Hello! My name is Alexandria Garcia. Over a month ago now I lost my mother unexpectedly. She left behind my brothers and I as well as two dogs and two cats. My mother always loved animals and had a big heart for them. I have been able to rehome all the animals my mother once housed but I am have difficulty with her elderly Pekingese. His name is Bubby and he is eight years old. Bubby joined my family when he was just a baby, and he has been with us since. I first met Bubby when I was 16 years old. He has always been very important to me. Unfortunately, none of the homes I have tried to place Bubby in have worked out. When I had picked him up after my mother died I noticed he had very bad back leg issues. He was dragging both legs and could not hold his pee in. I am unfortunately just starting my journey in college and completely fund myself. The only vet I could afford was a low income vet that did not offer X-rays, stating that would be what he needed. I started looking around for homes that would be willing to take care of him but the peeing has been frustrating for the people trying, which i understand. Lately, I found a program in California called Frosted Faces that I would love to put Bubby in. They offer everything I think he would need to help him get better and find him a perfect home.

However, I live in New Mexico. I also make minimum wage and barely can afford my rent and gas being a full time student as well. Frosted Faces asks for a 2000$ deposit to surrender the dog. This helps pay for everything Bubby might need, from medical attention to supplies. Because I don’t live in California, I am asking for an extra 1000$ to help me get to California in my car, and pay for lodging and any other fees I may encounter. Anything will help, I just want to give my boy a good home and a final wish. He is so loving and caring and deserves the world, I just want him to be happy.

The 2000$ will go directly to Frosted Faces to help place Bubby in their care.
