Support Buddy's Battle Against Bone Cancer

Hi! My name is Bri, and I'm funding my 3 year old amputee cat Buddy.

In late February, Buddy began to develop a slight limp on his back left leg. When I had taken him to the vet, his x-rays came back normal and it was assumed he had a simple sprain. However, his limp did not improve and quickly got worse. After another vet visit and a second set of x-rays, it revealed that he now had multiple bone lesions on his femur. He was diagnosed with fibroblastic osteosarcoma, a rare but extremely aggressive and fast-spreading cancer of the bone marrow. His leg was then amputated, and a biopsy was performed on the amputated leg to confirm the diagnosis. Scans following his amputation have shown that he is cancer-free for now, but will need radiographs for the rest of his life to make sure his cancer does not come back.

His treatment has been long and hard, but he's been doing incredibly well. He's already playing and running around like his old self. I've had Buddy since he was only 3 months old, and I want to give him the best and longest life he can have. I have done everything I can to make sure he's been given the best treatment plan. However, the financial side of his treatment plan has impacted me greatly.
