Support Buddy's Urgent Dental Surgery

Update: This is Buddy, 3 days after his surgery. He is eating wet food, pain-free, loving life!

We have raised $1,100.00 for Buddy's surgery. While the estimate that Pahoa Animal Hospital gave me was $1,492.73 (at the low end), Dr. Lehua has assured me that she can perform the surgery for the amount we have raised.

This is great news! Buddy is scheduled for surgery on July 3rd. I will continue to update everyone on this success story! I want to thank all of you who donated and who shared this fundraiser in order to make it a success!

This is Buddy. He is an old kitty that was rescued from the streets of Pahoa and has severe periodontitis (gum disease). He is the sweetest old boy you could ever meet. Sadly, he can hardly eat and is not keeping on any weight due to his sore and bleeding gums. His symptoms are worsening and he is constantly drooling out of his mouth.

He was seen by a vet who recommended a full extraction of all of his teeth. I don't have the funds to donate to his operation and therefore I am doing this fundraiser.
