Support by Donating to Carson's Long Road to Recovery
Donation protected
My name is Tracey. My nephew Carson (19 years old and in college) has had a very serious motorcycle accident. Carson came very close to losing his life that day. He will have a long, long road to recovery.
My goal for this fund is to help his parents and siblings to offset lodging costs, medical bills from intense, multiple days of ICU treatment, plus other expenses for the next several months. Carson's accident was in Orlando and his parents live and work
3 hours from ORMC.
Our family will be very grateful for any donations so his parents can concentrate on his medical journey instead of finances.
Carson is still in ICU where they are attempting to get him stable. A special thanks to the experienced and skillful staff at ORMC for saving his life from the first day on.
9:00 pm update on Sunday 11/10/24. Carson opened his eyes a couple times. No sedation now. Hopeful tomorrow will have good progress.
5:00 pm update on Monday 11/11/24. Carson had a procedure to check stint inserted, so may not wake up until tomorrow. Hoping for full consciousness and extubation tonight or tomorrow. Will be 7 days in ICU tomorrow
6:10 pm on 11/11/24 - great news! Carson was extubated and when asked his name, he mouthed “Carson”!! What a relief
11/17/2024 update. Carson is still in ICU but improving. He is conscious and able to whisper. We are hoping positive progress continues. His parents have been in Orlando since the accident and truly, truly appreciate all of the unbelievable support from all of your donations.
