Support Caja Solidaria's Hurricane Relief Efforts

My name is Mitzi Harding. I work for the non-profit, Caja Solidaria. On a daily basis, we provide basic human needs to members of our community in Henderson and Transylvania County, western North Carolina, who need it most. We specialize in providing access to healthy food, affordable housing, and general mutual aid while prioritizing human dignity and cultural respect to everyone we serve.

Our community has very recently been devastated by Hurricane Helene, and many people we serve are facing extreme hardships. Since the hurricane hit on 9/27/24, Caja Solidaria has been offering our current stock of healthy food, electricity, and water to everyone and anyone able to get to our physical location at 316 Chadwick Avenue, Hendersonville, North Carolina. We have also been donating food to local emergency food distribution hubs throughout Henderson County. Please consider donating to our mutual aid fund to help us address the immediate needs of our community. Right now, our neighbors are facing limited access to clean water, hunger, homelessness, and access to transportation.
