Caleb Bonner's Short Term Missions Trip

Caleb Bonner is going on a short term missions trip to Uganda this summer. This campaign is to help him raise money for that trip.

He will be working with Kick It Soccer Academy which is headquartered in Masulita, Uganda. This ministry was founded by Alex Kalema and his wife, Violet. They have 3 sons, Elijah, Solomon, and JJ, and a daughter, Zoe. Since Alex started this ministry 12 years ago, over 1500 youth have come to know the Lord.  And there are now several Kick It Soccer Academies throughout Uganda and Rwanda. 

Kick It Soccer Academies offer teams for ages 3-university. They are starting a girls team this summer. Before this the few girls that came played on the boys teams. Kick It not only teaches the kids about soccer, but also offers classes on farming and animal care. They also do Bible studies. And the teams serve "the least of these" in their communities by helping the elderly and handicapped. Many of the players receive full-ride scholarships for their education.

Caleb is very excited to share not only his love of soccer but more importantly his love for the Lord with the kids in Uganda this coming summer. 

Funds will go to pay for the tickets, medical costs, and other expenses incurred.

Not everyone can give, but everyone can pray. Please pray for safety for Caleb and his team. Pray for the hearts of the kids in Uganda to be open to hearing the Truth of the Word. And that the Holy Spirit would be actively preparing hearts to hear the good news!
