I'm Cambria Frongner and my best friend has gotten sick. Luna has lived in the garage her whole life, and a few months ago I decided to move her into my room. Over time, I have gained a close connection with her and she has become a part of my heart. She is the sweetest cat ever, and never lets anyone go without receiving her love as she goes one by one to anyone around her. She was always there to greet you at the door with her sweet meow and love. She has been one of my biggest supporters this past year and I don't know what I would do without her.

Unfortunately, this week when we took her to the vet, she reacted negatively to the vaccines they gave her, and quickly took a turn for the worst. When I walked into my room the morning after her vaccinations to feed her breakfast, she sat there with no expression and struggled to acknowledge that I had come in. We took her to the vet and she had a 106-degree fever which is obviously not safe and okay for any living thing. We continued to take her in the past 3 days and she has had a continuous fever that high. She has gone without eating or drinking for the past few days - which is not like her, because if you know Luna, she loves her food. My friend has lost all her personality and spunk to her and is in pain and there's nothing we can do to seem to make her feel better.

She was hospitalized last night and put on a constant flow of liquid IV and was given medicine. It was hard to not have her presence in my room last night and I had a hard time sleeping knowing that she was alone. This morning we got updates that her fever had gone down to 103 and she had eaten a little bit of wet food. I was so relieved to hear the improvement, and I was planning to pick her up this evening but sadly as her medicine wore off her fever started to jump again. She is staying another night at the vet to be hospitalized and I'm hoping it's the last. We are still unsure of how long this may take, so the goal may raise. All I wish for is for Luna to feel better and be back home, but I am willing to do anything to help her.

Since this has gone on, the bill has added up fast and me and my family are scrambling to find a way to support her and cover everything. It would mean the world to have anyone support in any way possible and help my best friend come home feeling like her happy self. Thanks to everyone who has shared and supported us !!
