Ongoing Battle with Our Insurance Company for Our Son’s Life

Dear family, friends, and fellow community members,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to share an URGENT & personal situation regarding our son’s health & the ONGOING challenges we face with our insurance provider.

Our son is in critical need of the ability to CONTINUE his Mental Health Treatment for his multiple Complex Traumas he endured in his Developmental years, which is essential for his survival and well-being. Unfortunately, our insurance company has denied continuing coverage for this necessary treatment, stating it was NOT a Medical Necessity for Cameron to stay & complete his treatment!! All AGAINST his current treating Doctors/Clinicians advice!! Breaking the Mental Health Parity Law!

We are actively disputing this decision & are committed to fighting for our son to be able to COMPLETE his Mental Health treatment at his current Residential Facility, Calo. The ONLY facility that specializes in the exact Mental Health help/treatment that our son needs.

We are collecting all relevant medical records, letters from specialists, and any supporting evidence to appeal the denial.

We are seeking guidance from healthcare advocates and legal experts to navigate the complexities of insurance appeals.

We are sharing our story with others who may be facing similar challenges, as we believe that collective voices can lead to change.
