Support high school hockey player and his family
Donation protected
Dear family, friends, and generous supporters,
We are reaching out to you to ask for your support. Cameron Samples, the most kind-hearted 17 year-old from Saint Louis, Missouri has been diagnosed with nodular lymphocyte predominant Hodgkin lymphoma. This type of cancer is rare, and typically seen in adult males. Cameron is currently being treated by pediatric and adult oncologists and begins chemotherapy next week.
About Cameron
Cameron is a senior at Lindbergh High School and spends half days at South Tech participating in their HVAC program. Cameron is the most lovable kid and the best big brother to his sister, Liala. To know him is to love him, and he has dreams to one day start a family and be a business owner. In addition to his academics, Cameron works at Raising Cane's and plays hockey for the Lindbergh Flyers as center and left wing.
If you are fortunate enough to know Cameron personally, you know that hockey is his life. His doctors have told him that during his chemotherapy treatment, he cannot participate in contact sports. This news is devastating for Cameron, to say the least.
How You Can Help
First and foremost, we are asking for prayer. Additionally, we are seeking financial gifts to help offset the expenses associated with his treatment. Vanessa (Cameron’s Mom), recently lost her job and Gabe (Cameron’s Dad), will need to take time off work to support him through treatment and recovery.
Any gift, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in Cameron’s fight. Your support will help cover medical expenses, fertility visits, and day-to-day needs during this challenging time.
Thank you for your generosity, support, and prayers.
With deepest gratitude,
Jordan Potje
(Vanessa's best friend and sister)
