Support Canadian Bobsleigh Athlete Caelan Brown

Hi! My name is Caelan Brown and I am a brakewoman on the Canadian Women's National bobsleigh team. This will be my first year with the National team and my second year in bobsleigh, with my sights set on the 2026 and 2030 Olympic Games.

I have been involved in competitive sport my whole life, hockey being my game of choice. I study Biological Sciences at the University of Guelph. As of last winter, I put my life on hold for bobsleigh. I'm giving it my all.

I'm still in school, but I had to leave my job to give my Olympic dream the attention I know it deserves. My season will take me across North America, from Whistler, BC, to Lake Placid, NY, to Park City, UT. Recent budget cuts within Bobsleigh Canada have left the newer athletes such as myself with the daunting task of funding our own seasons. This means money for flights, accommodations, food, sled rental, fitness training and sliding sessions - all things that fill my days and leave little time to earn the funds.
