V Foundation Fundraiser in Honor of Ade Ayodele

As you may know – on June 23, 2020, our brother Ade Ayodele (Junior), a vibrant sports executive, dedicated friend, and cherished member of the Ayodele family, passed away from colon cancer at just 31 years old.

Determined to transform our grief into purpose, we’ve channeled our energy into supporting the the V Foundation's Stuart Scott Memorial Cancer Research Fund. In 2020 alone, we raised $100,000 to advance the understanding of the biological basis of cancer disparities. Through Facebook fundraisers, runs, and rides, our community united to prevent others from enduring similar heartache.

This year we were invited by the V Foundation to join the Chicago Epicurean Board - the V Foundation's first immersive fundraising event taking place in Chicago. Similar to the events hosted in Napa Valley and New York, it promises to be a weekend full of excellent food & wine, some of sport's biggest legends, and an update on the V Foundation's all-in approach to accelerating victory over cancer. 100% of the proceeds raised over the weekend will go directly towards funding important cancer research.

To fund another 2 years of cancer research in Junior's name, we aspire to raise another $50,000 over the next year - starting with the Chicago Epicurean event next week.
