Support Candace Harmony's Fight Against Cancer

On June 19th, 2024, I thought I was going to the hospital to be treated for kidney stones, but little did I know I would be told that I have an Advanced Stage 4 B High Grade Carcinoma cancer and blood clots in my leg.

I did have kidney stones, but they were the least of my doctors' concerns.

Since then, I have spent many days in UAB undergoing tests and procedures. Some to help protect me from the blood clots, and the others to track down what type it is, where it all is, and where it has originated from in my body. Also, the doctors are helping me with the terrible swelling and pain from the ascites and cancer.

As of right now, we know that the cancer is in my abdomen lining, intestinal wall, bowel, diaphragm, colon, (possibly) pancreas, and more…

The GI Oncologists at UAB are trying to narrow down if it started in my pancreas or my colon.

I will be starting my chemo hopefully this week.

Right now, all the doctors can do is hopefully help me to live longer than the few months, as long as possible, BUT God can do great and mighty things!

I have also been referred to be seen at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and the Cancer Institute in Atlanta.

I am going to do everything in my power and spirit to stand Firm in The Lord for Healing. Going for every treatment I possibly can, and any Cancer center or hospital that can help.

I am praying for God to help me have as many more days that is possible with babies Jasper, Caleb, & Honesty. My Sisters, Nieces & Nephews, Family, Incredible Friends (Rose, Cat, Bev, Tracy, & so many more to list), and my Honey Ron.

My goal is to hopefully allow this to help me get any treatment that might be available that could help add days to my life, help me to enjoy the moments I have strength with my kids, and cover things that might come up that will be unexpected along this journey for Healing in Jesus name.
