Support Captain Benny's Road to Recovery

Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out on behalf of Captain Benny Hendrix, beloved charter captain and a true local. Recently, while doing what he loves most — guiding a fishing charter — Captain Benny had an unfortunate incident with a shark that resulted in serious injury. Although the quick thinking and actions of his clients on board almost certainly saved his life, he sustained significant damage that requires extensive medical attention and a lot recovery.

For years, Capt. Benny has been at the heart of our community’s fishing scene. His passion for the water and unwavering dedication to his clients have left an indelible mark on all who have had the pleasure of fishing with him in and around our community. Now, he needs the help of that very same community.

The funds raised will directly support Capt. Benny’s medical expenses, rehabilitation, and the financial strain caused by this unexpected incident. Although this will not even begin to cover the emergency medical expenses incurred, every donation and share of this campaign brings us one step closer to ensuring Benny can get back on his feet and back on the water where he belongs.
